Event box

Join us for a day-long conference honoring the achievement and assessing the legacy of two of the most important Christian theological and moral thinkers of the last half-century: Schubert M. Ogden, of SMU Perkins School of Theology, and Franklin I. Gamwell, of the University of Chicago Divinity School. This event is co-sponsored by Perkins School of Theology, The Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility, the Graduate Program in Religious Studies, and Bridwell Library.
Online and in-person options are available. Webinar links will be sent out by email to those who register for attendance online. The conference is free and open to the public. Optional CEUs (0.5 continuing education units) are available for attending the conference with registration, a $15 payment, and sign-in on the day of the event. The conference without CEUs is free and open for all to attend. Please register and indicate your selections below.
Information about SMU guest and event parking can be found on the SMU Parking website. Read more about the Liberating Theologies and Ethics for the Common Good: The Contributions of Schubert M. Ogden and Franklin I. Gamwell conference in SMU Libraries News. Enjoy a free copy of Food for the Soul: The Recipes of Schubert Ogden, available online.
**If you registered to join the conference via webinar, a link was sent to the email used to RSVP around 1:30pm on October 2. The link may have gone to your spam folder if you did not receive it. I will send the link and additional conference information to all registered again this morning around 7:30am, October 3, in case the information was not received.
