SIFTing through Business Research

Learn effective strategies for evaluating information using the SIFT method, starting in ChatGPT as an idea generator and branching out to Google Scholar, Library Search and Business Source Complete to verify the authority and accuracy of the information. All students will benefit by learning how to SIFT through their research first.

Any person who requires a reasonable accommodation on the basis of a disability in order to participate in this program should contact presenter at bizworkshops@smu.edu at least one week prior to the event to arrange for the accommodation.

Interested but can't come at this time? Ask a Business Librarian to meet the research needs for your class, group, or student organization.
