Topical Deep Dive: Bloomberg & FactSet

Don Shelly, Finance Professor of Practice, will be leading four independent, one-hour sessions on selected finance topics. These sessions are designed to take you deeper into using the Bloomberg terminal and FactSet, Cap IQ, and NetAdvantage databases, to enhance your finance decisions. Anyone with an interest in learning more about effective investment research may attend.

All sessions will be on Wednesdays from 5:20-6:20 PM in the Business Library (Kitt Investing and Trading Center), temporarily located on the lower level of Hamon Arts Library.

March 20: Financial Analysis using Bloomberg, FactSet, and Cap IQ

March 27: Relative Value Analysis using Bloomberg, FactSet, and Cap IQ

April 3: Industry Analysis: Using Bloomberg Intelligence, FactSet Industry, and NetAdvantage

April 10: Using the Bloomberg and FactSet Excel Add-Ins

The sessions are not designed to teach you how to navigate Bloomberg or FactSet. Register for the Business Library's Bloomberg Basics and FactSet Fundamentals workshops to learn navigation skills and get the most out of using these business resources.
