Intro to Python on ManeFrame 3

In this comprehensive workshop, we'll start with the fundamentals of Python programming, covering syntax, variables, data types, and control structures. Through hands-on exercises and interactive examples using resources from SMU HPC ManeFrame 3, you'll gain a solid foundation in Python that will serve as the building blocks for your coding ventures. As we progress, we'll delve into the powerful capabilities of data manipulation and analysis using two essential libraries: NumPy and Pandas. Learn how to efficiently work with arrays, matrices, and data frames, and discover how these libraries streamline data preprocessing and analysis, making complex tasks a breeze. But that's not all – our workshop takes you further by exploring data visualization techniques. With Matplotlib and Seaborn, you'll learn how to create captivating visual representations of your data, from basic graphs to intricate plots. Uncover the art of conveying insights through visualization and enhance your data storytelling skills.
