Find important information about potential employers using the company website and social media as well as library databases such as Mergent Intellect, Factiva, Privco, IBISWorld and Business Source Complete. Identify trends and hot topics for industries and companies using Library Search and the Dallas Business Journal Portal. Use news articles to ensure your interview answers are robust. During this session, participants will complete a worksheet that ties directly into the career portfolio assignment for BLI 3302 and will be useful for anyone doing career research.
