Every student who has taken this workshop has said they were amazed how much they learned about searching, which they thought they already knew how to do

This workshop will assist students in locating a variety of articles on business topics. You will learn effective search strategies for article searching in databases including Google Scholar, Library Search and Business Source Complete. In addition, students will learn how to access specific journals, evaluate articles, and where to locate help with citations, including using RefWorks, which will also help organize research. All students will benefit by improving their search strategies.

We will present this workshop online if you contact us and have a group of five people that can attend it. If you would like to be notified when new workshops are scheduled, please register for our waitlist and you will receive an e-mail when the fall schedule is prepared.

Any person who requires a reasonable accommodation on the basis of a disability in order to participate in this program should contact the Business Library at AskaBizLibrarian@smu.edu or 214-768-4496 at least one week prior to the event to arrange for the accommodation.
