Every student who has attended has said they were amazed how much they learned about searching, which they thought they already knew how to do.

Learn effective search strategies for article searching in databases including Google Scholar, Library Search and Business Source Complete. Learn how to access specific journals, evaluate articles, and where to locate help with citations, including using RefWorks, which will also help organize research. All students will benefit by improving their search strategies.

Any person who requires a reasonable accommodation on the basis of a disability in order to participate in this program should contact presenter at bizworkshops@smu.edu at least one week prior to the event to arrange for the accommodation.
