As part of the Aquatic Channels exhibition program, the Hamon Arts Library will host a panel, "Living with the Trinity River: a talk with artist Laray Polk and canoeist Charles Allen." This panel is an opportunity for the SMU community and visitors to ask questions about Laray Polk's decade-long written and artistic work on the Trinity River and Texas coastal landscapes. Also, attendees will hear about Charles Allen's life-long experience with the Trinity and his perspective on the impact of urban expansion upon the river.
